ABSTRACT:
In a rather unexpected twist to the marketing campaign surrounding the film Deadpool, a series of public-service advertisements were released in Jan, 2016, starring the titled main character advising fans about testicular cancer screening. The advertisements were produced in collaboration with the charities Ball Boys and the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation. Days later, Deadpool offered ‘something for everyone’ with another public-service advertisement about breast cancer screening.
